　Look at how the great red dragon blasphemes and slanders God, is it not, as a foil, rendering service to Him? What results are achieved through the service rendered by this foil? For those of you who do not love the truth, it overthrows and binds you and blocks your path to the entrance of the kingdom of heaven. For those who love the truth, it allows them to be perfected. The more that the great red dragon judges, resists, discredits and blasphemes Christ, the more they will pursue the truth and the more they will dispose of their notions, ultimately becoming more compatible with Christ. Is this not the use that the great red dragon has as a foil? So, in the Book of Revelation it is said: “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still … and he that is holy, let him be holy still” (Rev 22:11). You see. He that is unjust encounters the great red dragon doing this or that, and then he gives up his faith. He eliminates himself. For those who love the truth, the more they see the great red dragon blaspheme, disparage and attack Christ, the more they hate the great red dragon and the more they seek the truth; ultimately the effect that will be achieved is that they will be completely compatible with Christ, without a single notion about Him. And so is fulfilled God’s word that His work in the last days is to save and perfect the truth-seekers, and to reveal, eliminate and condemn those who do not love the truth, who hate the truth. Think about those who have some notions. As soon as they fellowship in the truth their notions will be resolved, and eventually they will come to have a deeper love of God. They know that these words spoken by the devil are only lies, which almost make them fall, almost ruin them, so they have even more hate for Satan the devil. For those who listen to the rumors and lies of the great red dragon, who carry notions and retreat and no longer believe, one day will come when God will appear publicly and say: “I am the Almighty God that you have persecuted and condemned.” And they shall weep and gnash their teeth! Whom can you blame? Why did you have notions and leave the church? Why did you not seek the truth? Why did you not read more of the word of God? Why did you believe the devil’s words? Some people have notions, but whenever brothers and sisters in God’s house fellowship with them out of love, some of these people’s notions will be alleviated or eliminated, and they will accept God’s work in the last days. But for some people, no matter how our brothers and sisters fellowship, it will be of no avail. Today after our fellowship is over their notions will be settled, but tomorrow when they see some bad things, once again, they will have notions. Then, our brothers and sisters will once again fellowship with them to settle these notions, and then the day after when these people see negative things, once again, they will fall down. They will continuously stand up and fall down, stand up and fall down, but in the end they will still be fallen, and eventually no one will regard them. This kind of people enjoy the words of the devil, they do not love the word of God. These people will be kicked aside, the church does not want them. They can fall down one or two times, but they are not allowed to be fallen forever, and it is in this way that some people are eliminated.

　Outsiders consistently resist, oppose and condemn and the wave of resistance is getting higher and higher. What is the effect of the external voice of opposition, persecution and condemnation on these people? It has the effect of making people pursue the truth. As soon as people hear negative words they will naturally become skeptical and wish to investigate, seek and will always want to figure this out. Afraid of being deceived, they will examine the work of God by fellowshiping about the vision and God’s work and will gradually have a little understanding of God’s words, will no longer be skeptical and their heart will be at ease and able to quieten down and pursue the truth. Until the day they hear the voice of condemnation again and they will feel skeptical for a while, investigate again, pray again to God, seek the truth again, communicate again and understand a bit more clearly again, resulting in them feeling calm again…. After calming down, they will pursue the truth for a while and will feel illuminated and free from anxiety. After feeling free from anxiety for a while, they have notions again when some aspects of God’s work do not match their views and ideas and they then have doubts again and ponder again, “I must investigate and work this out.” They examine it over and over and see that “It is all right. It is not wrong at all.” They then feel free from anxiety again. This is how the way is completely determined as the true way through several repeated twists and turns. Have you also gone through such a process? Everyone has. So what is the effect on us of opposition, rejection and condemnation by the whole religious community? It spurs us on even more to pursue the truth and examine the true way. This is also a step in Satan’s service for God’s work. We know what role they play, don’t we?

That is why, in order to collect evidence of the evil things that evil people do, He allows them to reveal themselves and demonstrate their true nature. Once they have finished revealing themselves, once the “tape recorder” has finished “recording,” then He will capture them in His net. What does this indicate? After the judgment work of the last days, God will do the work of concluding the age; if God does not have evidence, would He be able to complete this work? No, He would not. 　Do you know what they are doing when the religious community still judges and brazenly attacks Almighty God now? To use a colloquial saying, it is called seeking death. Are they seeking death? Some people say they have not died now. It is not good to die now and to die later is better. So, this death must have a moment and moments of death should be carefully chosen. Tell me, do you think it is appropriate for them to die now? If you let them die, how can others be revealed? There are many demons that have not yet come out and that must all come out. All those who resist and deny God will eventually stand up and resist. They will be thoroughly revealed and round up in one clean sweep. If one appears, you kill one; one appears and one is killed. Will the next one dare to show themselves? No one will dare show themselves. Do not kill them. Let them live a bit longer. As soon as those people see they will say: Oh! They resisted God and nothing happened. “It does not look like it really is God, so let’s resist too.” They will then stand up and resist. As soon as they resist and nothing happens, people will become even bolder: Oh, it looks like it isn’t really God. Let’s all resist. And so people will all stand up and after they have resisted, Satan and the demons will all be revealed. Is it not even better for God to deal with them all together? How is separating all according to their kind achieved? It has to go through the revealing of all kinds of things during a period of time. As soon as it is revealed, then each will be sorted according to their kind. Without the process of revealing, each cannot be sorted according to their kind. So there will be a big reveal in the final stage of God’s work. This process of revealing will sort each according to their kind. So when some people resist and judge Almighty God, God cannot fly into a rage because of the resistance of one person and kill them in one “flash.” If they are killed right away like that, those demons Satan will not dare to show their faces. When they are resisting and judging God, God is silent and hides secretly observing. Those demons look all around them but they do not see the existence of God and after resisting and nothing happening, it looks like it is not the true God and one after another they all stand up and everyone attacks and judges. When they have almost all been revealed, God starts to punish people and the disasters will come and in a flash they will die. But they will not be let die completely, and they will have to see why they die. So no matter what God does, it is all significant. He is not as people imagine. What God does is most wise and most meaningful. The order of what God does is also very clever, much cleverer than people are. People do things simply.

　Now the religious community is starting to collapse. Why is the religious community starting to completely collapse? They have already crucified God again, committed sin and done evil. They should be cursed. There are facts and evidence. It is not a case of them just being confused by people and half believing, half doubting and things not having been done. Now their evil and their sins have already been committed, so they should die. There are some things where the way of God doing them differs to people’s. People’s way is to put you to death the moment you have done evil. God views putting someone to death as fixed and unchangeable, but that will not necessarily happen immediately. Why will they not be put to death immediately? God will let them see a fact and see the manifestation of God so that they will be forever cursed and forever punished. In the Age of Law, did Jesus let the leaders of Judaism die when they resisted Jesus and were enemies of Jesus? Did He let the chief priests and the scribes die? No. Why did He not let them die? To let them die then would be letting them off lightly. If these people from the religious community are let die, is that not letting them off lightly? For some people, to die is easier than to live. Living is more painful than death. If God lets such people die then they are freed, so why not let them suffer more? God will let them suffer more. So God cannot let them die for the time being and must let them see a fact and see that Almighty God that they resisted is the second coming of Jesus and then let them suffer punishment forever, face everlasting perdition and never be reborn as a person. This is more formidable. Look, isn’t God’s righteous disposition completely revealed in what He does? It is much greater than people can imagine. Their evil doing makes them have to be convinced sincerely and then makes them face everlasting perdition. This is even more formidable. If you do not know God’s disposition and always do things based people’s notions and imagination, then you are so stupid. It will not do for you to know God’s disposition too simply. Isn’t letting them die now not letting them off lightly? God’s arrangements are even better. Let them be buried and doomed eternally and send them to the eighteen layers of hell. Prior to this, let them first see the facts. This is the fulfillment of the words of the Book of Revelation. “And every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.” What does “they also which pierced him” mean? That is, those who pierced Him have not died and must still see Him. As soon as “must still see Him” is mentioned, it proves that those who crucify Christ again today cannot die and must see the manifestation of God before receiving their punishment. With regard to this matter, what further knowledge do we have of God’s disposition? God does things differently from people. God does things more profoundly, more meaningfully and more realistically. To know God’s disposition is not a simple thing. It is not alright for you to always replace knowledge of God with your notions. Your notions are not the truth, nor is your imagination the truth. Look at how God does things. That is more meaningful. God is the true and living God. He is also the almighty and wise God. So if you really thoroughly know what God does, you will see that that is the truth and can act as our eternal life. What such people gain is so rich. They will live more meaningfully.

This flesh is not one that can be replaced by just any man, but one that can adequately bear God’s work on earth, and express the disposition of God, and well represent God, and provide man with life” (The Word Appears in the Flesh).

“He who is God’s incarnation shall hold the substance of God, and He who is God’s incarnation shall hold the expression of God. Since God becomes flesh, He shall bring forth the work He must do, and since God becomes flesh, He shall express what He is, and shall be able to bring the truth to man, bestow life upon man, and show man the way” (The Word Appears in the Flesh).

Zhang Jingxin: In these passages, Almighty God so clearly revealed the mysteries of incarnation. When we hear the word of God, we immediately understand what incarnation is all about. The truth can only be expressed by the incarnate God for the cleansing and salvation of mankind. Isn’t it the appearance and work of God? Are the world’s famous and great people able to express the truth? Aside from the incarnate God, no one can express the truth. Our belief in Almighty God is exactly because Almighty God has expressed all the truths for the cleansing and salvation of mankind, and done the judgment work in the last days. So we believe that He is the practical God incarnate, that is the Lord Jesus who has returned in the flesh in the last days. This is the basis for our belief in Almighty God.

Du Guirong: I know that all of you who believe in Almighty God do so because you have read the word of Almighty God, and you firmly believe that the word of Almighty God is all the truths and the voice of God. So you witness that Almighty God is Christ of the last days, the returned Lord Jesus who has performed judgment work in the last days. This is the basis for your belief in Almighty God. I believe that all of you who believe in Almighty God would not just casually believe in a man. However, we communists have never recognized the existence and dominance of God, let alone the word of God as the truth. The word of God is the truth to you, not to us. The year my husband died, I was deep in despair, and on top of that I had the added burden of raising my children. Hardship had suddenly befallen my life, but I had the love of the Lord with me all along, and with the help of my brothers and sisters I got through this difficult time. To recompense the love of the Lord, I continued to make donations and serve the church, and have been doing so for over thirty years. In this time, I have experienced the thriving of the church and seen the glorious occasion of the spread of the gospel of the Lord Jesus. I’ve also witnessed desolation and helplessness in the church. I thought back to when the Holy Spirit first began to do the great work in the church, when we experienced enjoyment and gained much from listening to the pastor’s preaching. There was mutual love among the brothers and sisters just as if we were all one family, and everyone was united in spreading the gospel and bearing witness to the Lord. Later, without knowing what had happened, there was no longer any light in what the pastor preached. It was like everything was just the same old story repeated again and again, and the believers simply could not get anything to nourish them. Their faith and love gradually waned, and there were fewer and fewer people coming to gatherings. Those of us who participated in service were also just going through the motions. We all acted according to the wishes of the people in the ministry and not at all in the service of God, but rather we just exerted ourselves in front of other people and tried to win their admiration. I learned that He had already expressed the word and done the last days’ work of judgment beginning at the house of God to completely purify and save mankind and to bring mankind into the heavenly kingdom. The word of Almighty God made clear to me the mystery of the Lord’s return which I had thought about for so many years. I understood that the Lord’s return was divided into the two forms of the hidden advent and of coming openly. The Lord first became incarnate as the Son of man at the hidden advent to express His word and to judge and cleanse man, and to make a group of overcomers before the disasters. When the great disasters descend, He will reward the good and punish the evil and come openly, appearing to all countries and peoples. At that time, the work of God incarnate at the hidden advent will already have ended, and all who resist and condemn God’s work in the last days will meet the disasters weeping and gnashing their teeth. The brothers and sisters also fellowshiped to me the truth about the three stages of God’s work saving mankind, the significance of God’s incarnation, and how God will perform the work of judgment in the last days. I then understood why before, in serving the church, we had not had God’s guidance, and why there was no path forward for us in reading the scripture, prayer, and study. I understood why we had not felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. God had already done the new work and concluded the Age of Grace, bringing about the Age of the Kingdom. The Holy Spirit was no longer working within the churches of the Age of Grace, so people’s spirits had withered and grown dark, devoid of any joy or contentment, and they could not obtain any sustenance in their spiritual lives. It is thanks to God’s guidance and direction that I was able to recognize God’s voice in the word of Almighty God. I happily accepted the work of God in the last days. Afterward, the brothers and sisters would frequently share the word of Almighty God with me online. Seeing the movies, videos of choral dances, and music videos produced by The Church of Almighty God provided great sustenance to me, and I thanked God from my heart for leading me before His throne. I enjoyed being shepherded and nourished by the word of God, and I entered a blissful life of living face to face with God.

One day, a wife of one of the pastors in the church sent me a message out of the blue, saying: “Why did you like a post by Eastern Lightning? You also allowed it to be posted on your timeline, and it goes against the Lord’s will to do so. If parishioners see the post about Eastern Lightning, and become interested in the words of Almighty God, they’ll all go read up on Eastern Lightning. What are we supposed to do? You can’t get in touch with the people from Eastern Lightning again. You should delete their contact information right away….” I replied: “The gospel movies, hymns, and music videos of The Church of Almighty God are all quite good, and I’ve gotten a lot out of them. I should be able to like it online!” I wanted to send more messages to the pastor’s wife, but before I’d even finished another message, she said many things attacking, accusing Almighty God, and slandering The Church of Almighty God. I saw that she had no heart whatsoever to investigate this great matter of the Lord’s return, but just made whatever judgments and accusations she saw fit. I didn’t want to talk about anything else with her, so I just changed the subject.

A few days after this happened, Pastor Yang came looking for me to talk. After some small talk, Pastor Yang asked me: “Have you looked into any other religious groups online?” I didn’t know why Pastor Yang would ask me such a question, and I said: “My friends on Facebook belong to many different denominations, and if I think the articles they post are correct and good, then I can try to understand them and see if there’s any new light in them. Are you saying it’s wrong to do this?” Pastor Yang asked me again: “Did you convert to Eastern Lightning two years ago? Why do you want to investigate Eastern Lightning? Also, did you frequently go looking for so-and-so (a sister who had accepted God’s work in the last days, whose pictures had been posted and who had been accused and abandoned by the pastor of her original church)? …” Hearing the barrage of questions from Pastor Yang, I started to get annoyed, and said: “The Church of Almighty God is good, and within it there is the truth and the work of the Holy Spirit. I will follow along wherever there is the truth and the work of the Holy Spirit, and this is something I should do. There is no new light in our church, and my spirit is darkened and can’t find any sustenance there. I want to find a church that has the work of the Holy Spirit, where I can receive the nourishment of the truth. The teaching of Eastern Lightning appeals to me, and the words of Almighty God are all the truth. They allow me to obtain sustenance. I wasn’t wrong to investigate Eastern Lightning, and it’s my freedom to do so.” Pastor Yang said: “What the people from Eastern Lightning preach oversteps the Bible, and there is no other word of God than the Bible. If what they preach deviates from the Bible then it is wrong.” I said: “I once heard a preacher say the same thing, and I used to be of the same viewpoint myself. But after reading the word of Almighty God, and hearing what the brothers and sisters of The Church of Almighty God fellowshiped, I have come to know that these are just our own notions and imagination. They are not at all in accord with the truth and they don’t match reality. God is all-encompassing, and God is rich in wisdom. How can we delimit God’s word and work to just the Bible? The Bible says: ‘And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written’ (Jhn 21:25). We can see here that the words and work of God recorded in the Bible are too limited in scope. Not all that the Lord Jesus said at the time was written down in the Bible, much less the words spoken by the returned Lord. On top of that, the work of Almighty God is built on the foundation laid by the Lord Jesus. The work of Almighty God and that of the Lord Jesus are the work of one God….” Pastor Yang didn’t listen to a word I said and had no interest whatsoever in seeking and investigating. He just continued to say things resisting and accusing Almighty God and The Church of Almighty God, and asked me, “How did you learn about the website of The Church of Almighty God? Do you have their books? Have you preached the work of Almighty God to anyone else? Have you preached it to your children? Give me the names of the people in The Church of Almighty God….” He demanded I never again attend a gathering with people from The Church of Almighty God. If I didn’t listen to him and continued to be in contact with The Church of Almighty God, he would expel me from the church. He would never again let me go to any church and would thoroughly smear my reputation. I was startled at the Pastor Yang I saw right in front of me. How had Pastor Yang, who was always so good-natured and humble, and always spoke such gentle words, transformed into such a barbaric and unreasonable person? I told Pastor Yang: “It is my right to investigate the truth, and no one has any right to interfere with this. As for whether or not the teachings of Eastern Lightning are the true way, you should first of all not make blind judgments and accusations. You can go and investigate for yourself on the website of The Church of Almighty God, where they have a lot of content. There are all kinds of books on the word of God. Go see for yourself whether the word of Almighty God is the voice of the returned Lord Jesus….” Pastor Yang absolutely would not listen to what I was saying, but just kept on resisting and accusing. He threatened me, saying I must leave The Church of Almighty God. The more he spoke, the more Pastor Yang crossed the line. I was extremely annoyed and said to him: “The Lord Jesus said: ‘Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged’ (Mat 7:1–2). If you have never investigated the words and work of Almighty God, then how can you just make whatever judgments and accusations you want? When you act like this, is it in a way that reveres God?” Pastor Yang saw that I wasn’t listening to him and that I had refuted him, and didn’t say anything else.

In the following days, Pastor Yang started to keep an eye on me. This filled me with worry, and I lost my freedom of faith as well. In the church, there was only a hallway separating Pastor Yang’s office from my own. He kept popping into my office to see what I was up to, and sometimes he would say he was going to the toilet and then watch me from the corridor. One day, two sisters of The Church of Almighty God came to my office to chat. Once the sisters left, Pastor Yang went to find my assistant. My assistant later told me that Pastor Yang had asked her who these two people were, and why they had come…. Pastor Yang watched me the whole day as if he were keeping an eye on a criminal. It made me feel very oppressed and without any release for my heart. One day, I did not go to the church, and was taking part in a gathering online with some brothers and sisters. Just then, when I was assiduously taking the meeting notes in my living room, Pastor Yang was suddenly behind me speaking (the door was ajar, and whoever came could enter the room): “What are you doing? What are you writing?” I jumped up in fright at the voice that had suddenly appeared behind me. I felt inwardly ill at ease at being disturbed by him in such a way, and whatever I did I could not return to a state of tranquility. I resented him intensely, and thought: “Investigating the true way in one’s belief in God is right and proper, and is a right that a Christian should have.” The Holy Spirit was no longer working within our church, and the parishioners were all negative, weak, and withered in spirit. They were living in an environment that was sunken down into darkness, and I was looking for a church in which the Holy Spirit was at work. How was it wrong to look for traces of God? Why did he want to keep an eye on me? Why wouldn’t he let me be?

Not only was the pastor monitoring and disturbing me, but one elder even called me up to harass me. He told me: “What the people from The Church of Almighty God preach has overstepped the Bible. If you believe in the Lord, you cannot betray the Lord, who has given you so much kindness. You can’t be without a conscience….” I said in retort: “Almighty God and the Lord Jesus are one and the same God, and I have certainly not betrayed the Lord Jesus by believing in Almighty God. I am merely catching up with the footprints of the Lamb….” However, no matter how I tried to explain it, the elder was just the same as the pastor. Other than making accusations, uttering blasphemies, and obstructing me from accepting the work of Almighty God in the last days, he didn’t listen to one word of what I fellowshiped or advised. I didn’t want to talk with him anymore, so I just thought of some excuse to hang up. But the elder didn’t let me off the hook. He kept calling to harass me and said that by my belief in Almighty God I had forgotten the grace of the Lord and had betrayed Him. I remembered what was said in Revelation: “These are they which follow the Lamb wherever he goes” (Rev 14:4). On the foundation of the Lord Jesus’ work of redemption, Almighty God is performing another stage of the work of judging and purifying people through words, and my acceptance of Almighty God’s work in the last days clearly showed that I was keeping up with the footprints of the Lamb. How could anyone say I was betraying the Lord Jesus? At first, when the Lord Jesus came to do work, the people who had believed in Jehovah God emerged from the law to accept the gospel of the kingdom of heaven preached by the Lord Jesus. They followed the Lord Jesus, but had they forgotten the salvation of Jehovah God? Was this a betrayal of Jehovah? Isn’t this a misconception? After this took place, the pastor once again sent me some messages online blaspheming, resisting, and accusing Almighty God. Reading such hideous words made me feel disgusted and furious again. Only Satan is capable of uttering such blasphemies, and in their capacity as leaders in the church, how was it that they had no fear whatsoever of God and dared to say all manner of blasphemies? It reminded me of the words of the Lord Jesus: “But whoever speaks against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come” (Mat 12:32). Blaspheming against God is a major and terrible sin! I felt a lingering sense of dread on their behalf, but no matter what I said, they just stuffed up their ears and refused to hear anything. They just kept making accusations, resisting, and blaspheming. I just could not understand it: The elder and the pastor both had knowledge of the Bible and had studied theology, and the words of Almighty God were spoken with such clarity, so why was it that they would not seek or investigate His words? Why did they absolutely insist on condemning and resisting Almighty God?



Bearing this question in mind, I went to find the brothers and sisters of The Church of Almighty God. Sister Lin fellowshiped to me, saying: “As for why it is that the elder and the pastor did not seek or investigate Almighty God’s work in the last days, but instead frantically accused and resisted Him, Almighty God has already made clear the essence and origin of this problem. Almighty God says: ‘Do you wish to know the root of why the Pharisees opposed Jesus? Do you wish to know the substance of the Pharisees? They were full of fantasies about the Messiah. What’s more, they believed only that the Messiah would come, yet did not seek the truth of life. And so, even today they still await the Messiah, for they have no knowledge of the way of life, and do not know what the way of truth is. How, say you, could such foolish, stubborn and ignorant people gain God’s blessing? How could they behold the Messiah? They opposed Jesus because they did not know the direction of the Holy Spirit’s work, because they did not know the way of truth spoken by Jesus, and, furthermore, because they did not understand the Messiah. And since they had never seen the Messiah, and had never been in the company of the Messiah, they made the mistake of paying empty tribute to the name of the Messiah while opposing the substance of the Messiah by any means. These Pharisees in substance were stubborn, arrogant, and did not obey the truth. The principle of their belief in God is: No matter how profound Your preaching, no matter how high Your authority, You are not Christ unless You are called the Messiah. Are these views not preposterous and ridiculous?’ (‘When You Behold the Spiritual Body of Jesus Will Be When God Has Made Anew Heaven and Earth’ in The Word Appears in the Flesh). ‘Look at the leaders of every denomination. They are all arrogant and self-right, and they interpret the Bible out of context and according to their own imagination. They all rely on gifts and erudition to do their work. If they were incapable of preaching anything, would those people follow them? They do, after all, possess some learning, and can speak a little of doctrine, or know how to win over others and how to use some artifices, through which they have brought people before themselves and have deceived them. Nominally, those people believe in God—but in reality they follow their leaders. If they encounter those who preach the true way, some of them would say, “We have to consult our leader about our belief in God.” They require someone’s consent to believe in God; is that not a problem? What have those leaders become, then? Have they not become Pharisees, false shepherds, antichrists, and stumbling blocks to people’s acceptance of the true way?’ (‘Only the Pursuit of the Truth Is the True Belief in God’ in Records of Christ’s Talks). When the Lord Jesus had first come to do His work, He was beset by the frantic accusations and resistance of the Jewish leaders—the chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees. In the end, they crucified the Lord Jesus. The ancestors of the Pharisees believed in God and were expert in the law. So why would they resist and accuse the Lord Jesus, and nail Him to the cross? We can see from the word of God that this was brought about by their satanic nature of being obstinate, arrogant, and not submitting to the truth. The Lord Jesus expressed so much truth, and they did not seek after or investigate it, but rather adhered to their own viewpoints. Their belief in God relied only on their own notions and imaginations, and they interpreted the Bible by taking verses out of context. This caused them to be blind, and not to obtain enlightenment from God. They did not know the work of the Holy Spirit, and did not understand the truth, nor could they understand God’s voice. This truly caused the words of the Bible to come true: ‘By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed’ (Mat 13:14–15). The pastors and elders in religious circles in the last days are the same as the Pharisees of that time, as what they place importance on is knowledge of the Bible and theoretical study of theology. They rely on their own thinking and imaginings to interpret the word of the Lord, and to delimit the way the Lord will return. They stubbornly cling to their own notions and imagination, and they do not seek the truth whatsoever. Not only do they not investigate the work of God in the last days, but they blindly resist and accuse Him, exposing their satanic nature of stubbornness, arrogance, and hostility to the truth. They study theology, equipping themselves with knowledge of the Bible, but that does not mean that they have any love for the truth, nor does it mean that they are able to accept and obey the truth. They explain Bible knowledge and theological theory, their only goal being to increase their own renown and reputation. They do so to safeguard their own status, and make believers look up to them reverently, adore them, and follow them. They see that the words which Almighty God expresses are the truth, and that they are able to conquer and save people, and that many people who have a love for the truth and who yearn for God’s appearance have read the word of Almighty God and have turned to Almighty God. They believe that the work of Almighty God is a threat to their status and livelihood, and so they fight back frantically and do their utmost to accuse and resist Almighty God. They take whatever means necessary to obstruct and disrupt believers from turning to Almighty God in an attempt to dominate God’s chosen people for all time. This is the root of why elders and preachers do not seek or investigate the work of Almighty God and why they frantically resist and accuse Almighty God. It can be seen in the evil deeds of the preachers and elders who resist God that they are the Pharisees of our time, and that they are the obstacle preventing believers from accepting the truth and being raised up into the heavenly kingdom. They are the antichrists, who resist God and make God their enemy, and have been revealed by God’s work in the last days.”

After hearing the word of Almighty God and what the sisters fellowshiped, I compared it to what the pastor and elder had said and done. I saw that the word of Almighty God was spoken in a very practical way and that, even though the pastor and elder can read and interpret the Bible over and over again, it still does not mean that they are the people who have knowledge of God. They rely on natural talent and knowledge in their work to elevate themselves so that others will worship them and follow them. On the surface they seem to be serving God, but in reality what they are serving are their own notions and imagination, their own status and livelihood. Through the pastor and elder repeatedly harassing and obstructing me, I was able to see through to who they truly are. They are antichrists who believe in God but do not seek the truth and who serve God but resist Him. Even though the pastor and elder have still not given up harassing me to this day, I have already seen clearly their true antichrist nature of hostility for the truth and resistance to God. I will no longer allow myself to be harassed or controlled by them, and I am completely determined that the work of Almighty God in the last days is true. I wish to follow Almighty God to the very end, and never change! Amen!
